To support the Service in providing high standards of care and quality of life. In particular to provide high quality support and promote independence in all aspects of daily life to people in their own homes, in training, in employment and in leisure activities.

The Brothers of Charity Services is an organisation whose vision is to provide a range of services to adults with learning disabilities which support their individuality, choice, rights and aspirations. This position is in supported living, and the shifts vary. They include long days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Take part in helping people draw up their Person Centred Plan and follow the agreed plan.
  • Support to develop and maintain relationships, as identified in the individuals Person Centred Support Plan.
  • To support and enable people to make informed choices about all aspects of their lives, promoting self-advocacy, informal and formal, or people of their choice.
  • To enable people we support lead full and purposeful lives in the community and to develop a range of friendships, activities and relationships.
