About Us:
Platinum Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Inc. is a physical therapist-owned company that provides one-on-one care without the use of aides or assistants to a wide variety of patients with orthopedic, neurological, and pelvic health concerns. We are currently looking for a full-time physical therapist to join our outstanding team of PTs in our Norfolk location. Our Norfolk location is conveniently located on Route 115 near Anne’s market. This is a newer location for us, and we are looking to build it to a 3-4 PT clinic. Our focus at Platinum PT is for our employees to have a work-life harmony!
Members of our physical therapy staff implement plans of care for our patients and educate the local community about the role of physical therapy in the healthcare system. Our team is dynamic, committed to lifelong learning, and engaging with our patients.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Implement and carry out physical therapy plan of care in one-on-one 40-minute time slots for evaluations and treatments
- Open 56 patient slots/week (37.5 treatment hours with lunch time allocated)
- Manage one’s own schedule through waitlists and communication with front desk
- Engage with the local community at large through 1-2 local marketing events per year
- Complete necessary documentation and chart review as needed within and outside of patient treatment hours
- Participate in continuing education requirements of maintaining a professional license in the state of Massachusetts
- Maintain a clean, organized clinic for patient care
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Willingness to learn and lead by example
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Maintain a positive attitude with patients and staff
- Use of computer for documentation and communication with patients and staff
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Physical Therapy required
- Active physical therapy license in good standing in the Commonwealth of MA
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics physical therapy setting preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical demands of the role of physical therapist including manual therapies, exercise demonstration, and guarding for safety
- Computer use for documentation, email, and marketing
- Lifting and carrying of marketing materials and clinic supplies
