Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver an exciting and varied programme of activities, including sports, creative arts, personal development, and youth voice initiatives.
- Work directly with young people (ages 6-21) in group settings and one-to-one sessions to support their social skills, confidence, and aspirations.
- Encourage young people to participate in group work, make new connections, and gain new experiences.
- Ensure young people are involved in designing, delivering, and evaluating programmes to create a youth-led approach.
- Maintain accurate records of participation, safeguarding concerns, and any incidents.
- Promote positive behaviour and discipline to maintain a safe and inclusive environment.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, always adhering to FireFit\’s policies and procedures.
- Actively promote the FireFit Hub, encouraging membership, attendance, and engagement.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Level 3 Youth Work or relevant experience
- First Aid at Work qualification (or be willing to work towards)
- Experience of supporting young people
- Experience of challenging behaviour of young people and knowledge of conflict management
- Experience of undertaking safeguarding in a setting which includes young people

This is a permanent part-time role offering 20 hours per week – rota outlined below.
