Overview

I am currently recruiting for a Graduate Geologist to join a growing environmental and geotechnical consultancy based in Nottingham. This Graduate Geologist role is ideal for a recent graduate who is eager to apply academic knowledge to real‑world projects while developing practical site and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Support site investigations, soil and rock logging, groundwater and gas monitoring.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports.
• Work across residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments around Nottingham and the wider Midlands.
• Handle data management, health and safety compliance, liaison with contractors.
• Assist with desk studies and risk assessments.

Candidate Requirements

• Hold a degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related Earth Science discipline.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Live within a commutable distance of Nottingham/Derby.
