Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Automatic Door Engineer. The Automatic Door Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing automatic door systems. The role will involve troubleshooting technical issues, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Training can be provided. A van and power tools will be provided. Living in or around the Oxfordshire area is preferred. There will be an out-of-hours rota for weekends and holiday cover. Competitive rate of pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in installing and maintaining automatic door systems
• Knowledge of electrical systems and components
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Relevant certification or training in automatic door systems
• BS/EN 16005 and/or NVQ for Installation and Repair of automatic doors
• Industrial door experience is an advantage
• Valid driving license
