Your Role
As a Data Management Consultant, you will guide organisations in managing and leveraging their data assets to drive strategic outcomes. Your focus will be on data quality, security, governance, and metadata management, helping clients navigate modern data landscapes. The role requires a grasp of the evolving data landscape, proficiency in data management best practices, and an interest in AI. Specific responsibilities include:
- Providing guidance on data governance frameworks, data ethics policies, metadata strategies, and master data management solutions.
- Integrating cutting-edge technologies, leveraging machine learning and analytics to enhance data quality, automate governance, and optimize data processes.
- Shaping and executing data management engagements, offering strategic and implementation consultancy in areas like Data Governance, Data Ethics, Data Modelling, Data Architecture, Data Quality, and MDM.
- Assessing clients' data maturity using frameworks like DCAM and DAMA, through qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Building trusted client relationships to address key data management challenges.
- Advising on maximising data-driven insights for business decisions, including best practices and emerging trends.
- Supporting large-scale data transformations from conceptualisation to implementation, aligned with business goals.
- Collaborating on innovation initiatives with stakeholders.
- Establishing robust data capabilities, including organisational design, process improvement, skills development, and role definition.
- Contributing to practice development by identifying market opportunities, creating offerings, and thought leadership.
