The role:
As a Logistics Controller, you’ll oversee and coordinate all Mobile Repair Technician (MRT) repair activities, ensuring the delivery of excellent and consistent customer service. Day-to-day, you’ll oversee the allocation of MRT jobs, ensuring attendances align with Contract key performance indicators (KPIs) while initiating plans of action and special plans of action as needed.
You’ll also:
- Work directly with the MRT Manager to improve the first-time fix rate for repairs including feedback on parts holdings, tooling and training requirements.
- Provide support with code defects to ensure attendance within KPIs and provide MRT Support and ensure coding of defects including reviewing ability to utilise the triage process.
- Update the shift rota with annual leave and sickness ensuring the rota is correct and available to staff.
- Ensure tooling compliancy for MRTs is correct, updated and in line with requirements.
- Support the Logistics Manager with ensuring technician availability for Training whilst ensuring coverage for operations.
This role is full time, 40 hours per week and is based on site at Ruislip.
Essential experience of the Logistics Controller:
- Previous evidence of strong stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in a similar role identifying and driving successful maintenance control changes.
- Track record in the management and motivation of teams to deliver competitive advantage to the business.
- Experienced in all aspects of Microsoft packages.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and deliver in a complex environment.
