What We Do
The Trade Desk's Global Deal Desk team supports our sales efforts by structuring and pricing deals that align with internal policies and strategic objectives. We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support our newly established EMEA Deal Desk, based in London. While primarily focused on the EMEA region, you will be part of a global team, involved in broader initiatives. Your role will include guiding deal execution, managing risks, ensuring policy compliance, advising on revenue recognition, and contributing to future growth. This is the first dedicated full-time resource for the EMEA Deal Desk, reporting directly to the Assistant Controller.
What You'll Do
- Manage the entire deal lifecycle, from structuring to post-execution support.
- Collaborate with the EMEA sales team to structure deals and secure internal approval, ensuring alignment with company strategy.
- Work with Legal, Revenue Operations, Revenue Accounting, and FP&A teams to ensure compliance with policies.
- Create margin calculators to evaluate deal profitability.
- Support the EMEA sales team with concession requests and regional initiatives.
- Review draft agreements for consistency with approved deal terms.
- Provide post-deal support, resolving issues between sales, revenue accounting, and order management teams.
Who You Are
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or similar)
- Experience in Revenue Accounting
- Deal structuring and pricing experience is advantageous
- Proficient in Excel
- Collaborative team player
- Proactive, strategic thinker capable of managing multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
