About This Team Finance at AlphaSights is an expanding, global function responsible for planning, accounting, controlling, and enabling our fast-paced, high-growth business. Start date: July or September 2025 Role Overview As the company scales, AlphaSights is building a dedicated FP&A function to enhance its finance operations and collaboration with business units. FP&A supports decision-making at senior levels, highlights financial issues and risks, and identifies opportunities for improvement. Responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, P&L and cash flow control, scenario analysis, risk management, project reporting, and investment appraisal. Key Responsibilities Manage parts of the annual business plan, forecasts, and management reports Provide insights and analysis to support strategic goals Improve processes, systems, and analytical tools for forecasts, budgets, and financial analysis Develop KPIs and metrics aligned with business strategy Drive scenario modeling and planning, manage capex forecasts Support broader finance projects What You’ll Get A fast-paced environment focused on results Opportunities to develop your finance skills and career with professional support A supportive, transparent culture emphasizing feedback and celebration of wins Clear career development within and beyond the firm Minimum Requirements Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent in a numerical subject with strong academic credentials Excellent analytical skills and independent thinking Experience in building detailed models and forecasts in complex environments Accounting or management accounting qualification is a plus Ability to extract and combine data from multiple systems Stakeholder management skills across organizational levels Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn Team player with collaborative skills Knowledge of SQL is advantageous Compensation & Benefits £36,000 per annum Support for accounting qualifications (e.g., CIMA) 4% matched pension contribution Private health and dental insurance 25 vacation days, 8 bank holidays, Christmas closure Option to WFH on Thursdays and Fridays Modern office in the City of London AlphaSights is an equal-opportunity employer.
