Quant Analyst/Quant Developer

£800-£900 per day

London – (Hybrid) x2 Days on-site

We are seeking dynamic and resourceful individuals to join our technology practice as Quant Developers/Analysts, with expertise in Python and C++, primarily focusing on building out mathematical models and analytical tools for the high performing equities desk at a leading multinational investment bank.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supporting modelling Quants on major projects to ensure coding efficiency and consistency across the library and different asset classes.
2. Designing the overall architecture of the library and coding best practice.
3. Development of ad hoc tools to showcase functionality or facilitate investigations.
4. Contribute to strategic development, design, and decision-making.
5. Develop technical solutions for the desk as required.
6. Develop model calibration routines and market data analytics.
7. Engage with stakeholders to ensure developments make it to production.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Quantitative Analyst developing models in finance or trading environments.
2. Knowledge of standard pricing models used in investment banking.
3. Proficiency in Python and C++ programming languages.
4. Experience with multithreading and asynchronous environments.
5. Strong understanding of low-latency and real-time system design.
6. Knowledge of equities structured products with a focus on low-latency trading systems.
7. Familiarity with execution algorithm performance analysis.
8. Understanding of software design patterns and principles.
9. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
10. Adaptability to a dynamic environment.
