SEMH LSA

We are recruiting for a position as a SEMH LSA. This role is full time and set to start immediately; please only apply if you can work full time.

Are you patient, caring, and passionate about helping children succeed? We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support a student with ADHD and sensory sensitivities.

Location: Croydon AreaDay rate: £100-110 per day dependent on experienceHours: 8:30am to 3:30pmRole: Full time (Monday to Friday) 5 days Long term Job

Your Key Responsibilities as a SEMH LSA:

• Provide movement breaks and sensory support to help the student focus.
• Reduce anxiety during transitions and unstructured times by escorting and supporting the student.
• Teach emotional regulation and social skills, tailored to their needs.
• Work closely with the student’s family to ensure consistency between home and school.
• Keep the student’s routine predictable and help them prepare for changes.
• Collaborate with specialists, like Occupational Therapists, to meet their physical and emotional needs.
