Job Overview

A motivated and enthusiastic newly qualified Band 5 dietitian is needed for a mixed caseload of medical and complex care wards within the inpatient ward team.

Two Fixed‑term positions are available:

• 1.0 WTE (37.5 hrs) Fixed term 6 months
• 1.0 WTE (37.5 hrs) Fixed term 12 months

Main Duties

• Provide a dietetic service to specified wards, including complex medical and elderly care.
• Cover annual leave and unplanned leave across a variety of clinical areas.
• Deliver education and training on nutrition‑related topics to health professionals, students and patients.
• Contribute to implementation of the Trust Nutrition and Hydration strategy.

Essential Criteria

• HCPC registration
• Clinical experience in the NHS
• Specific interest in this role
• Well‑written application

Desirable Criteria

• Experience within the NHS system
• Relevant CPD related to dietetics and this role
