What you will be doing We’re looking for a Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to join our UK team, based out of our London office. You will play a key role in collaborating with our Head of Compliance (US) and Head of Compliance (Ireland) in overseeing our global regulatory compliance programme, with a specific focus on financial crime and UK regulatory obligations. This is a second line of defence role reporting to the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer working in close collaboration with a range of cross-functional teams including Legal, Compliance Operations, Support, Product, Commercial and Technology. What you will be working on Act as MLRO for Ramp UK, maintaining an effective AML/CTF framework in line with UK regulatory requirements. Support the development, implementation and oversight of AML/CFT/Sanctions policies and controls. Assist in conducting and documenting annual ML/TF business risk assessments. Oversee or support investigations into suspicious activity, including drafting and submitting Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to the National Crime Agency (NCA). Manage relationships and correspondence with law enforcement agencies and regulators (e.g., FCA, HMRC). Contribute to the ongoing monitoring and reporting of AML/KYC controls across the business. Assist in preparing compliance MI and MLRO reporting packs for senior management and the Board. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to maintain a strong compliance culture. Support the design and delivery of annual AML, Sanctions and Financial Crime training programmes. Regulatory Compliance Support the Head of Compliance US and Ireland in interpreting and implementing applicable FCA rules and other regulatory obligations, including the UK Travel Rule, Consumer Duty, and operational resilience requirements. Monitor relevant regulatory developments, analyse their impact on the business, and support implementation of necessary changes. Assist in the completion of periodic regulatory filings, licence renewals, and internal governance reviews. Manage FinProm and HR3C customer approvals. Contribute to internal second-line monitoring and thematic reviews across compliance areas. Oversee certain global compliance functions, including country risk updates, partner due diligence and token reviews. What you will bring 7+ years of experience in a second line AML and regulatory compliance role within a UK regulated financial institution, crypto firm, consultancy or regulator. Previous experience acting as (or supporting) an MLRO or Deputy MLRO function at a cryptocurrency or fintech company. Strong understanding of crypto and the evolving regulatory landscape. Experience building compliance programs from the ground up. Experience working with and presenting to regulators, with excellent working knowledge of UK AML regulations (MLRs), JMLSG guidance, and FCA expectations relating to AML, Sanctions, and financial crime. Familiarity with the FCA Handbook, including SYSC, COND, and DISP. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across stakeholders, including commercial, product, risk, marketing, and legal teams. Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail, with an ability to work on multiple projects independently and under pressure. Proficiency with compliance tooling and systems; adaptability to new technologies.
