This is a global role, based in Europe, primarily in the UK, Poland, France, or Spain. The position can be home-based. The role involves managing a team of Clinical Study Leads to deliver clinical studies on infectious disease diagnostic assays and platforms. The manager will work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality studies are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the delivery of infectious disease diagnostic studies, ensuring excellence in quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
- Lead and develop the Clinical Study Leads team, fostering talent and establishing a framework for growth.
- Continuously evaluate and improve clinical processes, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations and guidance documents.
- Develop clinical strategies and leverage scientific expertise to obtain high-quality clinical data.
- University degree or equivalent in a health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in the in vitro diagnostic industry, with clinical affairs background; experience in pharmaceuticals or other devices considered.
- Background in infectious diseases.
- Proven leadership and management skills, capable of influencing without authority and building strong team rapport.
- Experience managing multiple projects across various sites.
- Knowledge of industry standards (ISO13485), CLSI guidance, and ICH GCP is desirable.
- Willingness to travel internationally (15-20%).
