For Companies Highways Operative (Groundworker), required to work on a local authority contract based in Felling, Gateshead starting ASAP.
This is for a minimum of 2 months work with a potential for ongoing work.
You will be working as a Semi-Skilled Groundworker, alongside a team of Highways Ops – installing lighting columns, digging out & reinstating.
Must have previous groundworks experience – roads, using breakers, stihl saws, etc.
Plant tickets are desired but not essential.
- Rate is £15 phr umbrella; CIS is not an option for this contract.
- 39 hours per week.
- CV will be required for this role.
Ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a groundworks labourer or Groundworker.
- Plant tickets.
- Manual handling.
- Abrasive wheels.
- Full driving licence.
