Purpose of the role

To operate Stoll machines according to production plans and specifications to deliver high quality products and meet customer demands.

The day to day

• Adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements.
• Produce products to the agreed specification by following processes.
• Perform quality checking to ensure a quality product is knitted and delivered to the customer.
• Maintain Stoll machines in accordance with standard working practices to ensure smooth operation and machine efficiency.
• Ensure a smooth shift handover by attending daily meetings.
• Change over machines to ensure smooth running of the manufacturing process.

Other Considerations

• Data input required.
• Previous experience, or an understanding of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience within a production environment and/or machine operator role would be beneficial.
• Methodical approach.

Shift Pattern

This position requires working a 3‑week rotational shift pattern.

• Week 1: Monday to Friday, 06:00‑14:00
• Week 2: Monday to Friday, 14:00‑22:00
• Week 3: Sunday to Thursday, 22:00‑06:00
