Trainee Protection Advisor

This role is based in Halifax on-site (working from home is not available). PRIMIS Mortgage Network are seeking hungry and tenacious sales professionals to join a top performing Appointed Representative Partner Firm (AR) of PRIMIS Mortgage Network’s Mortgage & Protection Advisory operation. The roles are to join the Protection Sales Team; full in-house training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers over the telephone on Life assurance, Private Medical Insurance, Business Protection & General Insurance (e.g., Home Insurance) with all leads provided.
• Operate in a highly target-driven environment with a focus on top-class customer outcomes and impeccable compliance results.
• Utilise a panel of protection providers to ensure the best outcomes for customers.
• Potentially work from the Halifax office as part of a team of Mortgage Advisors, Protection Advisors and General Insurance advisors.
• Engage with customers and manage leads; self-generation and referrals can increase output and earnings.

Compensation and Benefits

• Estimated earnings between £50,000 and £75,000 for successful performers; more achievable for top performers.
• Base salary £20,000 – £25,000 (negotiable depending on experience).
• All leads provided; self-generation and referrals can increase earnings.
• Comprehensive protection products with access to circa 15 protection providers on the panel to ensure quality customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Prerequisites: hunger, tenacity and sales experience; full product training provided.
• For Protection Advisor roles, no formal qualifications are required.
• Working hours: 9:30–19:30 for 3 days; 9:30–18:00 for 1 day; 9:30–16:30 on Friday (no weekends).
• Previous experience in Motor Trade, Mobile Phone Sales or Electrical store sales can be advantageous.
