Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard water supply, improve environmental performance, and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. With over 140 years of combined experience, we are problem solvers in engineering and infrastructure.

This role is within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programs aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

As Site Manager, you will be part of our WSP Contract responsible for Repair and Maintenance on the Yorkshire Water Network, crucial for the region’s future supply needs.

Your responsibilities include ensuring safety and adherence to procedures, working closely with highway inspectors, traffic management, supervisors, and client teams. You will monitor risk assessments, set up sites per NRSWA guidelines, and maintain clean and safe work sites by inspecting all work and equipment for defects.

You will lead and manage site teams, report to the Project Manager, set clear targets, support SHEQ in toolbox talks, liaise with clients and highways, coordinate resources, and monitor work quality. You will deliver schemes such as open cut, slip line, pipe bursting, and directional drilling, ensuring water quality regulations are met.

What You’ll Bring

• Knowledge and experience of the water industry
• Water SHEA or CSCS certification
• Qualified Supervisor in NRSWA
• Valid driving license
