We are a luxury hotel and golf destination located on the stunning Scottish Isles renowned for our exceptional guest experiences and fine dining. We are seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team and help deliver outstanding service in our award-winning restaurant.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Lead, train, and develop the team to maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Manage reservations and ensure efficient seating and flow within the restaurant.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure the quality and presentation of food and beverages.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
  • Support in executing marketing initiatives as they are rolled out to guests, training staff in recommendations etc.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and solve problems efficiently.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and spirits.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
