The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

This is a fast-paced manufacturing operation that demands attention to detail as the preferred candidate provides key logistics support to incoming and outgoing parts and materials. This hands-on position requires a detailed utility person with the ability to multi-task and fill any staff vacancy (when needed) ranging from driving and forklift operation to creating shipping labels, contacting shippers or coordinating internal deliveries. Additionally, the candidate must be focused on teamwork, task completion, and customer satisfaction.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to successfully pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screen
  • Ability to operate company delivery trucks safely and efficiently. Position requires a valid driver's license and is subject to periodic motor vehicle record checks
  • Prior forklift experience required with the ability to become forklift certified and maintain certification
  • Exhibits independent thinking and sound judgment, accompanied by proven problem solving/mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with team members and managers/supervisors
  • Must be computer literate with advanced computer skills and proficiency with ERP Systems
  • Excellent time management and strong organizational skills
  • Provides additional backup support for Shipping and Receiving Department
  • Participates in annual inventory parts counting
  • Daily safety conscious work effort. Notify management of any product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions, and/or personal injuries
  • Participate in all continuous improvement programs by offering suggestions and initiatives in areas within direct control
  • Comply with state and federal law safety regulations in addition to Accrotool health, safety and security procedures
  • Adhere to company policies and state and federal laws and regulations relating to employment, including promoting a workplace free of discrimination and harassment

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum High School diploma or GED required with a minimum of 2-years related manufacturing/warehousing experience

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions:

The employee will be expected to endure frequent standing and walking. Ability to communicate effectively on regular basis. Constant handling, grasping, repetitive motion job tasks requiring continuous eye/hand/foot coordination. Environmental conditions consist of frequent temperature changes. Up to 50 lb. maximum lifting and carrying on an occasional basis. Up to 100 lb. maximum pushing and pulling also on an occasional basis. Must be versatile to toggle between physically demanding job tasks and more sedentary computer/keyboarding tasks. Must be able to wear personal protection equipment, such as earplugs, safety glasses, and safety shoes. The employee must be able to perform the physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Overall physical exertion is classified as constant light to medium work.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Package and prepare to ship parts/pieces/products to specification and pack according to job traveler
  • Assure all required paperwork is with shipment and produce required labels per shipper requirements
  • Receive incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages and communicate with shipper as needed
  • Process and enter incoming receiving paperwork into ERP system (Job Boss). Performs Job Boss receipt transactions and affixes all required labels
  • Routes items to departments. Responsible for incoming inventory accuracy
  • Perform inventory updates and cycle counts in ERP system based on incoming material/outgoing shipments
  • Participate in investigation of discrepancies and support overall finished good inventory accuracy
  • Be responsible to maintain a clean and orderly work area. Maintain an inventory of shipping materials/supplies and coordinate replenishment
  • Must have a willingness and flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, schedule and deadline, and perform other essential duties as assigned in support of operational success
