The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 Β£ per year.
We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to join our team of corporate procurement specialists with a focus on the primary Goods & Services categories. You will work in a supportive team environment, building strong relationships with our internal stakeholders and suppliers. You can expect to manage a portfolio of procurement projects, from advice on Pre Market Engagement and procurement design, through the procurement process to award and contract management. You will also contribute to strategic procurement planning for the council, mentor junior colleagues and support officers across the council in their devolved procurement activities.

- Expert knowledge of relevant systems, policies, processes, regulations, and legislation
- Proven ability to build relationships, engage effectively, and influence stakeholders
- Excellent persuasion and negotiating skills
- Strong project management skills and experience
- Relevant professional qualification or commitment to attain during your tenure
