We’re looking for an Account Director who is a French native to lead the local market social strategy and client relationships for Ford in France. You will work with our French clients (in their local language) to deliver our social strategy in their market, leading a small team of freelancers in Paris to build community, ideate, and create content, all rooted in French market knowledge and insights. You will collaborate with the wider Ford Europe account team to identify opportunities and communicate the value of Born Social's work to your local market clients.
What you’ll be doing:
- Account leadership: Ensuring output for your market aligns with the overall social strategy and working with teams to execute against that strategy. Set up teams effectively to support your pursuit of higher standards of work. Inspire your account teams to produce Born Social’s best work across all delivery areas.
- Relationship development: As the main point of contact for your clients, foster collaborative, trusting, and constructive relationships that allow you to effectively identify and communicate the value of Born Social's work to Ford.
- Project management: Organize key calls, meetings (team & independent), and Quarterly Reviews. Recognize and resolve delivery or client issues or lack of results. Work with wider team members to review ways of working, ensuring positive delivery experiences for both clients and teams.
- Overseeing delivery: Work with local freelancers in Paris to deliver social-first work that meets our strategy—supporting with briefing, quality control, and overseeing delivery.
- Local market visits: Conduct regular visits to Paris (likely monthly) to build relationships and deliver our best work, spending time with clients and freelance networks.
- Commercial management: Ensure accurate scope of work delivery (deliverables and time), use time tracking, ensure high-quality deliverables and deadlines are met. Address scope or resourcing issues and lead new resourcing requests, reporting on commercial performance monthly.
Who we’re looking for:
- You’re a London-based French native who speaks fluent English.
- You have 4+ years of experience in a Client Services role within an agency setting.
- You are passionate about improving client experience and enjoy relationship development.
- You aim to own and drive account quality, with a good understanding of social-first delivery (strategy, creative, media, management).
- You understand good project management and client service principles, and have helped develop these in others.
- You have a proven track record of retaining, developing, and growing accounts.
