We are seeking a talented legal professional to join our expanding global legal team. You will support legal matters alongside other legal counsel in Europe, initially supporting the Copperleaf business, with expansion to the full business expected in late 2025/2026. Your primary focus will be advising on legal matters related to go-to-market teams, including sales and consulting.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Structure, draft, negotiate, and close SaaS, software, support, and cloud contracts with customers, coordinating with other teams including Revenue Recognition.
- Provide accurate, timely, and responsible legal support across various legal areas.
- Ensure contractual terms align with applicable playbooks and corporate standards.
- Draft, negotiate, and close contracts with partners and suppliers.
- Coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
- Assist with other legal matters and provide advice to various parts of the business, including Facilities, Marketing, and Procurement.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
- Collaborate with the broader IFS legal team by sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Support compliance-related matters, including anticorruption, environmental, privacy, and export control issues.
- Manage complex matters involving multiple stakeholders.
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes and deepen industry knowledge.
- Participate in audit activities as required.
Qualifications:
- Qualified lawyer with approximately 4 years post-qualification experience, with software/cloud/SaaS experience and preferably in-house experience.
- Proven ability to handle complex commercial contracts and negotiations.
- Solid understanding and experience advising on privacy matters; experience with revenue recognition is a plus.
- A proactive, hands-on attitude—no project is too big or small.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and innovative in approach.
- Strong analytical skills, good business judgment, curiosity, and the ability to balance legal and business needs.
- Highest standards of ethics and integrity.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
