Team/Role Overview
Citi Internal Audit ("IA") is a dynamic global function of over 2,500 professionals located across more than 60 countries, covering Citi's global businesses and services to clients and customers through its network in 90+ countries. The Global Scheduling Team ("GST") reports into the IA Chief Operating Office; this office also includes teams that support the wider IA-Learning and Development, Resource and Budget Management, Legal Counsel, Data and Operations, and Communications and Engagement. At its core, GST is responsible for making sure audit engagements are staffed with the right people and at the right time.
The Scheduling Reporting Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Working as part of the GST, you will be responsible for the creation of key reports through the use of tools such as Excel, Cognos and GST's scheduling tool. As well as the creation of reports, you will be responsible for analysing data to highlight key trends and risks/opportunities to management.
What you'll do
- Creates standardised reporting and dashboards for scheduling metrics, tailored to the audience.
- Identifies reporting/analysis opportunities to proactively identify risks and opportunities in scheduling, effectively communicating major drivers.
- Consolidates department level scheduling analytics and highlights key trends and stories for executive level management.
- Works with GST to provide ongoing analytical support and strategic project support.
- Engages with tech team to ensure scheduling system has adequate and audience-tailored reporting/dashboards.
- Continuous improvement of reporting content/format and processes (including the creation, collection, review, aggregation, and dissemination of data), to generate efficiencies and address relevant requirements.
- Creates/maintains controls to ensure data quality and consistency for both reporting and the overall scheduling process.
- Effectively communicates with senior stakeholders on items related to insights and reporting.
- Supports administrative tasks that enable scheduling delivery.
What we'll need from you
- Relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Planning and Analysis or Resource Management.
- High level of proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Experience in mainstream Business Intelligence and visualisation tools preferred, but not required.
- Experience in resource scheduling preferred, but not required.
- Ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
