Role:Buildings Engineer Location:Plymouth(Hybrid) Duration:6 months Inside IR35 Buildings Support Engineer Job Purpose To support the design development and delivery of building work packages associated with the 5 Basin berthing requirements for Astute Class submarines at 5 Basin East Wall Centre and South. The Buildings Support Engineer is accountable to the 5 Basin Principal Engineer (Buildings) for the design development of building work packages for quality, output in accordance with scope, schedule, and cost. Responsibilities Manage one or more technical design packages as assigned by the Principal Engineer (Buildings), agreeing project related objectives, managing designer performance, and making appropriate technical management responses. Provide Subject Matter Expert advice as per discipline. Ensure that the design documentation covers the scope of operations required by the Project Manager and is produced to agreed standards, schedule and budget. Assist the Principal Engineer (Buildings) to ensure effective Quality Management Arrangements via compliance with Babcock's Business Management System and Technical Manual.
