Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £95

An experienced Teaching Assistant is required for a long-term position at a secondary school in Salford, Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will support classroom activities, assist with lesson delivery, and provide individual support to students, fostering an inclusive and effective learning environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
2. Provide one-on-one support to students with additional learning needs.
3. Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
4. Monitor and record student progress, reporting any concerns to the class teacher.
5. Support students during extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

1. Experience working in a school or educational setting.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
4. Commitment to supporting student learning and development.
5. Enhanced DBS check.
