Turners (Soham) Ltd is looking to recruit a Trainee Traffic Operator, working in our Container Division based in Leeds.

The main function of the role:

  • Planning collections and deliveries
  • Scheduling the fleet ensuring drivers are allocated to vehicles and loads
  • Ensuring drivers are on track with their deliveries and collections
  • Dealing with any problems drivers may have while out on the road, liaising with the end customer if and when necessary

The role will also involve some administration support with tasks such as order entry, data input and wages admin support.

The position is full time, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will need good verbal and written communication skills and be computer literate.
