We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join the team at Dunganon Care Home. This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week on a rotation shift pattern including weekends.

Responsibilities of the Role
- Oversee the maintenance of high standard cleanliness and tidiness, causing minimal disruption to our service users and their care.
- Ensure that staff under your remit use a variety of cleaning products, paying particular attention to COSHH regulated products.
- Ensure that you and your team are health and safety aware to ensure the safety of our service users and colleagues. Understand your responsibilities under the Health & Safety and Fire Safety Acts.
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate in a timely fashion in line with approved supplier lists.
- Complete supervisions and inductions for staff in your department.
- Ensure the facilities and all furnishings are clean and tidy at all times.
- Report any defects, faults, and maintenance issues which may affect the people who use our service.
- Monitor completion of all daily/weekly/monthly (dependent on service) work completion schedules.
- Complete paperwork in line with company policy.
- Any other duty as specified by the management of the service to assist in ensuring the service runs as smoothly as possible.
Experience/Qualification
- 1 year of supervisory experience in a similar role is essential for this position.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential.
