Our client is a large-scale company in the industrial/manufacturing sector, having successfully completed over 150 projects both nationally and internationally. To achieve this, we are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing and Communications Specialist to join their team and help reach new heights. The firm prides itself on consistently delivering quality products and services to its clients worldwide.

Job Description

  • Content Creation: Generating compelling and engaging content for various channels (website, social media, YouTube, etc.) and promotional materials.
  • Editorials and Advertisements: Identifying prime publications in the industry, benchmarking against competitors, and creating promotional materials.
  • Email Marketing Campaigns: Running seasonal email marketing campaigns to maintain regular communication with the client network, ensuring they stay informed and engaged.
  • Video Content Production: Producing video content tailored for online platforms and incorporating QR codes for seamless interaction and engagement.
  • Market Analysis: Assisting in gathering data on emerging markets, identifying key players and potential clients in these markets to inform on the growth strategy.
  • Social Media Management: Managing presence on LinkedIn, [X], YouTube, and other relevant platforms. Some of the content you create will be shared on these platforms, and you may explore blogging as an additional platform.
  • Company Events: Taking the lead in organising and managing company events, ensuring they align with the brand and marketing objectives.

Additionally, you will handle various administrative tasks, including:

  • Enquiry Management: Logging, recording, qualifying, distributing, and analysing incoming enquiries to drive lead generation efforts.
  • Client Database Maintenance: Maintaining an accurate client database for email marketing and GDPR compliance.
  • Promotional Items: Keeping track of promotional item stock and sourcing new items as needed to support marketing campaigns.
  • Data-sheet Production: Producing data-sheets for standard plant items to facilitate website usage and promotions.
  • Brand Management: Ensuring consistent usage of company-standard typefaces, email footers, and branding across all personnel to maintain a cohesive brand identity.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in a marketing and communications role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Creative mindset and a passion for storytelling
