Faith to Faithless – Sales Agent Role Faith to Faithless is a service of Humanists UK. We are recruiting a Sales Agent to sell our Apostasy Awareness training to statutory, education, and voluntary sector organisations. What you\’ll be selling Leaving a high-control religion can be a complicated process, often resulting in emotional abuse from family and community. Shunning and disownment are common, leading to isolation, depression, and other poor outcomes. Physical abuse, including honour violence, can follow. This is particularly challenging for ex-Evangelical Christians, ex-Jehovah’s Witnesses, ex-Muslims, and those leaving Ultra-Orthodox Jewish sects in Britain. Our Apostasy Awareness training informs frontline services about apostates and best practices for support. We have trained organizations including the Metropolitan Police, local authorities, police, social services, NHS workers, homeless shelters, teachers, university staff, and charities. Our target audience includes any organisation supporting individuals, especially statutory services, charities, and universities. Training coverage includes: Awareness of issues faced by apostates Referrals to relevant support organisations Language: helpful and unhelpful ways to discuss leaving religion Differences between apostasy and other forms of religious discrimination Safeguarding implications specific to organisations Is this the right position for you? We seek an experienced Sales Agent with sympathy for this cause and a willingness to learn about this unique service. Your role involves building customer relationships via email and phone, targeting statutory, voluntary, and educational organisations to sell our 90-minute, half-day, or full-day training sessions. Once a commitment is secured, the relationship is transferred to our Apostasy Services Development Officer (ASDO) to confirm dates. If a decision-maker prefers to speak with a professional before booking, you will receive a qualified lead fee. The ideal candidate will have sales experience in these sectors and preferably an existing contact list. Fee and Compensation Sales Agents earn 20% of the training booking fee. Training costs are typically £350 for half a day or £600 for a full day, with negotiation power over prices. Application Process Please download the Sales Agent Role Brief & Person Specification . Click the \’Apply now\’ button, attach your CV, and complete the online application questions explaining how you meet the person specification. Closing date: Tuesday, 17 June 2025, 17:00.
