As Construction Heavy Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair, maintenance and servicing of a mixture of heavy plant on site in Larkhill as well as some breakdowns in a mobile capacity.

You will be qualified to NVQ level 3, City & Guilds standard or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Plant Engineering and have a proven track record of working on the inspection, breakdown repair, service and maintenance of heavy plant such as Dumpers, Bucket Loaders, 360 Excavators, Rollers, Dumper Trucks, Bulldozers, Cranes and Container Handlers including a good all-round understanding of mechanics, hydraulics and electrics.

Any experienced Truck Mechanics looking for a change in direction and the chance to work on a variety of different plant would also be considered.

Due to the nature of the work, all individuals will be expected to pass DBS checks.
