Check Management Support Engineer

Carbon60 is working with a well-renowned worldwide MRO company to find a Check Management Support Engineer in Manchester.

In the role of Check Management Support Engineer, you will be working alongside the Check Manager, Commercial, and Materials Co-Ordinator to oversee effective project delivery of aircraft back to the customer within the agreed timescale.

Duties and Responsibilities of Check Management Support Engineer:

1. Work alongside the customer to ensure all over and above tasks are signed off onsite by a representative before work commences and before any potential over-runs.
2. Create and maintain task card over-runs for commercial and base management review.
3. Advise on non-productive bookings.
4. Monitor budget on task card.
5. Produce daily customer status reports keeping to schedule.
6. Daily progress meeting with Check Manager and customer.

Skills of Check Management Support Engineer:

1. Apprenticeship or equivalent in aviation or similar mechanical engineering field.
2. Ability to work in an ever-changing environment and adaptability to meet changing needs.
3. Strong organisational and people skills.
4. Awareness of commercial needs.
5. Must have a full UK Driving Licence.
6. Proficient in using MS Office, in particular, Excel.
