Position Summary: As a Restaurant Supply Planner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our restaurant by ensuring that all necessary supplies and ingredients are available to support our culinary team and meet customer demand. You will be responsible for managing inventory, analysing purchasing trends, coordinating with the restaurants, and optimising our supply chain to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the demand and supply planning for all products for a pre-determined amount of restaurants geographically located.
- Ensure the ordering system is operating with the most accurate information needed to generate consistent accurate order proposals.
- Ensure order proposals assure supply whilst consistently minimising costs.
- Ensure checks and controls on data integrity and performance are maintained and closely monitored. Investigate and remedy, where needed, any deviations against KPI's on stock transfers, order modifications, late stock additions, forecast accuracy and order proposal accuracy.
- Work with the Advanced Forecasting system (AFS) to investigate and answer restaurant queries on the department helpdesk system within the agreed service level agreement (SLA).
- Develop relationships and communication channels with restaurants, franchisees and others as necessary. Educate restaurants on the use of MB Sync (order system) and proactively demonstrate restaurant improvement. Ensure the necessary restaurant engagement targets are exceeded.
- Alignment with the rest of the Restaurant Supply team.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years experience within a supply chain/logistics function.
- An understanding of replenishment/forecasting processes.
- Strong Microsoft skills, in particular Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
