We are currently recruiting for a very well established client that is based in the heart of Birmingham City Centre. Due to expansion, we are looking for experienced Assembly Production Operatives to join their team. This will be initially a temporary role; however, there may be opportunities to be more permanent moving forward.
Working Monday to Friday 7.00am till 4pm, paying £11.44 per hour with the possibility of overtime.
Duties of the Job Role will include:
- Assembly work
- Quality inspection of parcels and products
- Final visual inspection of products
- Labelling and batching of products
- Completing paperwork
- Data inputting of orders and products onto the in-house system
- Picking and packing orders
- Working with goods in and out
- Be willing to do overtime
- Working towards targets and timeframes
- Keeping your work area clean and tidy at all times
Successful applications must have:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in assembly and production work
- Ability to work to targets and achieve productivity
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Confidence with basic math and English
- Ability to read and write basic English
- Ability to lift and stand for long periods of time
- Flexibility on hours as overtime may be required
- Willingness to work in all areas
