Our long-standing and local client, a market-leading UK manufacturer, is seeking an Administrator to join their small, friendly, and busy distribution team in an ongoing temporary assignment, looking to start on 6th Jan 2025. This position is Monday - Thursday, 8:00 - 5pm and Friday 8:00 - 4:30. This role is fully office based.
As the administrator your main duties will consist of:
- General daily administration requirements
- Liaising professionally with carrier companies, customers, and internal departments
- Booking deliveries, checking invoices, and maintaining customer and client records
- Delivering first-class customer service
As the administrator, you will:
- Be a strong communicator with a friendly and confident telephone manner
- Have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Possess competent IT skills (Microsoft and in-house systems)
