Responsible for: Community staff, Volunteers/Young Leaders

Contracted: 37.5 hours/week (Full Time)

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 - Dependent on experience

Are you passionate about using the power of sport and community to make a real difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for an inspiring and experienced Social, Health and Wellbeing Lead Coach to lead the delivery of life-enhancing programmes as part of our new structure at Inverness CT Community Development. This senior position is key in shaping and delivering community initiatives that use football and physical activity to improve lives, starting with our 'Football Foundations' and 'Walking Football' sessions, with a focus on our upcoming 'Community Teams' programme launching in August 2025. Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality sessions following the ‘Best Practice’ philosophy of Inverness CT Community Development Trust.
  • Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of Social, Health and Wellbeing programmes.
  • Manage and support coaches and volunteers.
  • Collaborate with local partners, support services, and community groups.
  • Monitor impact and report outcomes to funders and stakeholders.
  • Ensure safeguarding and inclusivity standards across all sessions.

Qualifications

  • HND in Sports or related field
  • UEFA C Children's or Youth/Adult Licence
  • Child Wellbeing in Scottish Football certification
  • Equality and Awareness Certificate
  • Successful applicants must obtain a PVG.

Experience and Personal Qualities

  • Experience working with children and young people
