We are seeking Piano Coaches with American accents, as well as those with diverse accents, to collaborate on the ROLI Learn app. This initiative focuses on delivering engaging and impactful content tailored to our US audience, ensuring lessons resonate deeply with their needs and preferences.
This is an in-person project conducted over several weeks at our London studio. Coaches represent the face of ROLI, both within the app and in broader marketing efforts. Ideal Piano Coaches are confident, dynamic presenters with a natural musicality and strong piano proficiency. As a Piano Coach, you should feel at ease speaking on camera, expressing your personality, and delivering educational content unscripted and authentically.
Who we are: Luminary is an innovative music-tech company committed to enabling everyone to have joyful musical experiences and bringing the magic of music learning to the world. We are seeking talented musicians and presenters to join our team as Piano coaches for the ROLI Learn app.
Role Overview: This role requires musical expertise and the ability to connect with an audience through engaging presentations. If you are an experienced piano teacher or a performer passionate about sharing knowledge, we want to hear from you! You will work with a small crew of music and production experts to record lessons for the ROLI Learn app. The first project will likely take place in late January (North East London). The ROLI Learn team will supply an educational framework and song content for these lessons, but it is up to you to deliver them in a way that reflects your unique and authentic style.
Successful Piano coaches should also be comfortable shooting marketing materials for ROLI's social channels and YouTube and being the face of the ROLI Learn app.
Responsibilities:
- Produce short, engaging videos designed to help learners refine their piano-playing skills.
- Deliver piano lessons based on our pre-designed educational framework.
- Present educational content confidently and engagingly on camera.
- Appear in ROLI marketing videos for social media / YouTube etc.
- Work collaboratively with a team of music and production experts.
- Adapt and personalise the lessons to reflect your unique teaching style.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in playing the piano.
- Experience in teaching or a strong passion for education.
- Ability to work effectively with a small crew.
- The proficiency to follow finger numbering and hand positioning set out in our framework.
