IKEA Cardiff are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team. Love food and customer service? As an IKEA Food Assistant, you will be immersed in both. If you thrive in a fast-paced and team-focused environment, this role will allow you to experience our wonderful everyday. We have opportunities in our front-of-house customer restaurant and dishwashing area.

WHAT WE OFFER
  • Start date of employment will be 02 February.
  • Hourly rate of £12.60 per hour.
  • We have 20-hour contracts, and so availability to work throughout the week, including a couple of weekdays, as well as 3 in 4 weekends.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
  • Prior food and customer service experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands-on and willing to roll up your sleeves.
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team.
  • Ability to remain organised and detail-oriented, even when things get busy.
  • Due to health and safety regulations, all applicants must be over the age of 18.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
  • You will take payment at tills, clean and clear the restaurant area, and work in our busy dish-room.
  • You will ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
  • You will support your colleagues, lend a hand, and foster a positive work environment, contributing to a happy team.
