We are actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Technician to measure, test and analyze the products as requested using equipment in the Analysis room/CMM room and to make relevant reports about analyzed products.
Responsibilities:- Analyse Returns: Perform analysis of products returned from customers/field, identify defects and causes.
- Function Test and Measurement: Perform function tests and measurements on new/re-designed and existing products as required.
- Product Reliability: Test product reliability according to customer needs and timescales.
- Reporting: Produce clear and accurate reports for testing/investigation/measurement and analysis results and conclusions with the use of analytical methods if required.
- Equipment Inspection/Repair: Inspect equipment regularly and perform basic repairs and maintenance.
- Documentation: Maintain basic procedures and SOPs for test equipment. Support Customer and Supplier PPAP submissions.
- Supporting Production: Support production department on ad hoc duties as and when required, for example, if there is a requirement for containment activities.
- In-depth knowledge of GD&T along with CMM programming skills, operation of test stands, and functional knowledge of automotive parts.
- Report writing skills, communication skills, fault finding skills i.e., the ability to identify the basic causes of faults.
- To display the necessary attributes in relation to the seven drivers of success.
- ONC level or further education in an engineering field.
- PC literate (Word/Excel).
- At least 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment programming and using CMMs.
