One of the UK’s largest manufacturers of flexible packaging is looking to recruit an experienced Flexographic Printer. Experience of operating Windmoller & Holscher and/or Comexi is desirable but not required.
You will enjoy a 4-day working week working continental shifts:
- 2 days (7am-7pm)
- 2 nights (7pm-7am)
- 4 days off
An annual rate of between £32,889 to £39,093, depending on experience. Overtime at time and a half is available.
As a qualified printer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Setting up and running an 8-colour flexographic printing press
- Monitoring and controlling print quality
- Optimising press speeds
- Efficiently dealing with print faults
- Highlighting print defects through print manager
- Managing ink levels
- Accurately capturing data
- Enhancing knowledge and training within the department
- Complying with site procedures
- Maintaining good housekeeping on the presses
