We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Engineer to oversee the development and delivery of hardware and software testing methodologies and solutions across Power Electronics and Charging test systems. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement and innovation, enhancing test operations' efficiency and quality within a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities of Senior Engineer:
- Lead the development of testing strategies for power electronics and charging systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and ISO guidelines.
- Design, integrate, and optimize software models for vehicle simulation and hardware testing, with a focus on automation and data quality.
- Manage and maintain High Voltage (HV) test rigs, ensuring effective operation and robust measurement processes.
- Guide a team of engineers to deliver complex testing solutions, fostering collaboration and leadership by example.
- Present technical concepts and project outcomes clearly to diverse stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
Required Skills & Experience of Senior Engineer:
- Strong expertise in dSpace-based HiL or Power-HiL systems for development and testing.
- Proven experience with power electronics components such as DCDC converters, inverters, charging systems, and battery management systems.
- Deep understanding of vehicle electrical distribution systems, networks (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet), and industry charging standards.
- Proficiency with automotive testing tools and platforms, including MATLAB/Simulink, Vector (CANape, CANoe), and INCA.
- Demonstrated ability to develop test scripts and simulation models, with experience in programming (e.g., CAPL).
- Prior experience leading teams in a complex engineering setting, showcasing excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills of Senior Engineer:
- Knowledge of automated test environments and tools, including AVL Automation and Emachine Emulator facilities.
- Familiarity with V-cycle software development processes and advanced dSPACE packages like ASM plant models and FPGA Electrical Components.
- Green Belt or Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with electrified vehicle systems, including HV control systems and power electronics techniques.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
