The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
We are searching for a skilled Estimator who will be responsible for creating customised estimates, which includes material costs, labour costs and initial budget for each project. The individual will also be managing the project from start to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares clear and concise estimates by including all necessary information like prints, RFIs and specs
- Generates preliminary construction schedule
- Establishes and maintains subcontractor and vendor relationship
- Communicates with team and trade partners on new and upcoming projects
- Analyzes data and produces forecasts
- Reviews progress and prepares periodic reports for management
- Performs risk analysis
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as an Estimator or in a similar position within the PAINTING AND DECORATING INDUSTRY
- General construction experience a plus
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Tech-savvy and proficient in MS Office and popular construction software like Timberline
- Familiar with inspector guidelines and safety precautions
