Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation and technology and knowledge transfer. – THE ROLE – As a member of the Organisation Design and Change (OD&C) team, this role will contribute to programmes of work to better enable the University to achieve the right culture, behaviours, skills and engagement. Responsibilities of the OD & C Partner fall into four broad areas: – To provide specialist OD & C perspective, and to design and deliver OD & C related interventions to Faculties and Departments, which either: Are initiated in partnership with a People and Culture People Partner and/or a People Development Partner to address specific opportunities/challenges within a given Faculty or Department; or Are interventions which address the People elements of a programme of change which has been initiated at a cross-University level. – In relation to particularly complex organisation design challenges, to take ownership by personally delivering individual interventions or to play a full part in a collaborative effort between colleagues across the institution in designing and delivering solutions. – To make a significant contribution to the evolution and development of the OD & C function and discipline within the University. – To contribute to the delivery of the wider People and Culture objectives/priorities by working closely with colleagues in the other sections of People and Culture. – ABOUT YOU – The postholder will: – Hold a Degree or other relevant professional qualification and be eligible for Chartered Membership of CIPD (MCIPD) or other relevant external professional body by examination and experience OR – Hold a Degree (or higher) in a business related discipline which includes a substantial element of HR/people management/Change Management/Organisational Development plus a commitment to securing Chartered Membership of CIPD or other relevant external professional body by examination and experience – Show a significant demonstration of experience in any of the following roles within a large complex organisation – Organisation Design role; Change Management role; HR/OD Consultancy role; Organisational Development role; HR role. This must include direct personal involvement as a specialist advisor in relation to the design and delivery of organisation design and/or change initiatives with a significant impact on employees Please find our employee benefits listed on our website.
