We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our Client in their global PLC department as an Accounts Assistant. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and motivated individual looking to advance their career in finance. The position is initially offered as a temporary role with the potential to transition into a permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Transactional Processing: Process invoices and credit notes for global accounts accurately and promptly using accounting software. Perform reconciliations of global supplier statements and ensure timely payments across multiple currencies. Manage intercompany transactions and balances across the group's international entities.
- Financial Records & Reporting: Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements, including trial balances, P&L accounts, and balance sheets for global operations. Support the preparation and submission of VAT, GST, and other tax returns for international jurisdictions. Maintain documentation for compliance with international financial regulations.
- Support & Collaboration: Work closely with regional teams to gather and reconcile financial data. Provide support in audits and ensure all financial records meet global compliance standards. Assist in improving and documenting financial processes for international operations.
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar accounts role, preferably with international exposure.
- AAT Level 3/4 qualification or equivalent bookkeeping certification.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or Navision preferred).
- Familiarity with multi-currency transactions and global tax compliance is a plus.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a global team.
