With thirteen sites across Yorkshire & Lincolnshire, we’re one of the UK’s largest Škoda retailers and hold the widest stock of new and approved used Škoda. A possible full-time career within the automotive industry with many opportunities to progress to positions of responsibility, including a service manager, master technician, and dealership principles. The opportunities are endless.
Responsibilities:- Servicing vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines to ensure optimum performance.
- Conducting MOTs and vehicle maintenance.
- Observing and assisting technicians in various tasks.
- Maintaining a Motor Vehicle Level 3 qualification (Motor Vehicle Service And Maintenance Technician - Light Vehicle).
- Completing level 2 English and maths prior to taking the end-point assessment.
- Replacing parts that show signs of wear and tear before they fail.
- Diagnosing vehicle failures and executing repairs.
- Before the Standard is met, all apprentices must hold a certificate that meets the EU’s 2014 F-gas regulation.
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm (to be confirmed with the employer).
