The Opportunity
QVC is looking for a Senior Application Developer within the Broadcast Engineering Department. Reporting to the Manager of Broadcast Application Development, your role will be to lead the technical design, development, and implementation of application systems in the Broadcast domain. You will work with a distributed team across the UK, Italy, and Germany to develop applications and workflows for live television, post-production, and automation systems.

Your Impact
- Develop, configure, code, and test programs of varying complexity and scope.
- Present work during design reviews and code reviews, supporting decisions and actions.
- Contribute to design specifications within defined architecture.
- Provide troubleshooting, technical, and operational support.
- Prepare documentation describing installation and operating procedures, including user guides.
- Mentor junior team members.
What You Bring
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle, design patterns, testing methodologies, and tools.
- Experience leading a development team, contributing to system architecture and design.
- Ability to troubleshoot production systems and develop applications using SOLID principles.
- Experience with live graphics and video playout software such as Vizrt, Ross XPression, Chyron Lyric, Versio, Crispin, especially API integration.
- Proficiency with development, version control, documentation, and deployment tools like Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, git, Confluence, CI/CD tools.
