Your new role involves working with a number of schools based in Nottingham who are looking for a School Caretaker to join their team. The position will be from Monday to Friday, and is initially presented as a long-term temporary role with the potential to go permanent. The role will start in January, but there could be an option to start sooner for the right candidate.
Your responsibilities will include:
- General grounds and building maintenance
- Minor repair work e.g. changing light bulbs
- Ensuring heating, lighting and alarm systems are working
- Responsibility of building keys β locking and unlocking as required
What you will need to succeed:
- Experience of managing premises or maintenance, ideally in a school
- Possess an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
- Be reliable, resilient and hardworking
