We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Removalist to join our team. As a Removalist, you will be responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient transportation of goods and furniture. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and excellent communication skills.
Duties:
- Pack, load, and unload furniture and other items onto trucks or vans.
- Safely secure items to prevent damage during transportation.
- Drive trucks or vans to designated locations for delivery or pick-up.
- Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate with clients to confirm delivery details and address any concerns.
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of furniture as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Skills:
- Warehouse experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive commercial vehicles (vans or trucks).
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
