Due to continued success, our Client, a global market leader in their field, is keen to recruit an experienced Reward Manager for their Belfast City Centre office. This is a new, permanent, global Reward job, and the successful senior Reward/Compensation & Benefits professional will be responsible for providing analytical and project management support for the organisation's compensation programs. This is a critical role in participating in compensation surveys, analysing market data, producing reports, assisting with Executive benchmarking and leading projects to support the organisation's compensation strategy and marketplace competitiveness.
The Role
- Provide strong consultative guidance, analysis, reporting, market practices and clarification of policies to managers
- Lead the compensation survey process, working with HR colleagues, business leaders and survey providers to ensure accurate job matches are made
- Study and analyse market data and trends to assist in the determination of salary and job grades to support the organisation's compensation strategy
- Produce standard periodic and ad hoc reporting for other departments; Finance, Technology, Business Development, Professional Services etc
- Track key issues, practices and trends in compensation by participating in industry groups, conducting benchmarking studies and gathering market intelligence from internal and external recruiters
- Support the ongoing development of the organisations global compensation practices, policies and processes
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to develop competitive compensation offers for new hires
- Support the annual compensation review process of C-Suite executives to ensure accurate and current benchmarking data is available
- Know and follow the policies and procedures of the organisation, share information that would benefit other members of the team and find ways to improve the delivery of service
The Person
- 3rd level qualification
- Willis Towers Watson/Mercer experience is desirable
- Strong prior experience in compensation analysis with a solid understanding of survey submission procedures and job matching
- Prior HR related work experience in employee relations, benefits, recruiting and HR systems would be preferred
- Strong IT skills with advanced understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail
