Part-Time Minibus Driver We are seeking a reliable and caring Part-Time Minibus Driver to join our team and help transport children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to and from school. This ongoing role is based in West Bridgford and operates during school term time only. Job: Part-Time Minibus Driver (SEND Transport) Location: West Bridgford Employer: Local Authority Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Split Shift) School Term Time Only Working Hours: * Morning Shift: 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM * Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM Total of 25 hours per week Key Responsibilities: * Safely transporting children with SEND to and from their homes and school. * Ensuring all children are securely fastened into their seats and wheelchairs (where applicable). * Driving the minibus in a responsible and safe manner, adhering to traffic regulations and local guidelines. * Maintaining a positive and supportive environment for the children on board. * Reporting any incidents, concerns, or vehicle maintenance needs promptly. Requirements: * A valid minibus driving licence (D1 or equivalent). * Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient attitude. * Enhanced DBS (to be carried out by employer) Additional Information: * Annual Leave: To be taken during school holidays. * This role is term-time only, with breaks during school holidays.
